Using traditional upholstery craft techniques and materials, you will create your very own family heirloom. The processes are satisfying and as we know, give your well-being a good ol'boost!
You may have seen glimpses of the incredible stitch work of traditionally upholstered furniture, and been fascinated by its purpose and process - this course is for you!
All you need to prepare is 1m of gorgeous upholstery-weight fabric.
We provide the frame, materials kit and tool hire.
You also choose the type of legs you want!
You'll be guided 'Step by step' by our fantastic, friendly BUC Teach Team Tutors.
During your weekend with us you'll meet all of the tools, techniques and like-minded classmates - perfect for beginners or experienced upholsterers wanting to practice and pick up a few more tricks.
Master stuffing, edge-roll stitching, corners and decorative detail, on this enjoyable 2-day course, especially designed for you to complete your very own Traditionally upholstered Foot Stool, to take home and put your feet up!
Choose your own legs!
We have a wide range of legs you can choose from to customise the design of your footstool and really make it your own. Choose from either more traditional wooden legs (which you could stain or paint at a later date) or some modern and colourful Hair Pin Legs.
