ECO - Modern
Footstool Project
2-day Weekend Course

This Eco Footstool course from Bristol Upholstery Collective is a seriously satisfying upholstery adventure. This course is designed to tackle some of the environmental issues surrounding modern upholstery by using alternative materials.
This intensive two-day weekend course will give guests the chance to master decorative modern upholstery techniques, such as deep buttoning, piping, button making and pleating.
Master the art of deep buttoning, button making, pleats, corners, piping, back-tacking and invisible stitch.
All you need to prepare is 1.5m of gorgeous upholstery-weight fabric. Natural materials work better - aim to purchase a linen, twill, or cotton weave.
We provide the frame, hairpin legs, materials kit and tool hire.
You'll be guided 'Step-by-step' by our fantastic, friendly BUC Teach Team Tutors.
During your weekend with us, you'll be using compressed air staple guns, getting to grips with modern upholstery techniques and meeting like-minded classmates - perfect for beginners or experienced upholsterers wanting to practice and pick up a few more tricks.
Be ready to choose the colour of your Hair Pin Legs when booking!
