This Eco Footstool course from Bristol Upholstery Collective is a seriously satisfying upholstery adventure. This course is designed to tackle some of the environmental issues surrounding modern upholstery by using alternative materials.

Choose either an INTENSIVE WEEKEND  or  EVENING COURSE.

 

This rewarding course will give students the chance to master decorative modern upholstery techniques, such as deep buttoning, piping, button making and pleating.

All you need to prepare is 1.5m of gorgeous upholstery-weight fabric. Natural materials work better - aim to purchase a linen, twill, wool or cotton weave.

 

We provide the frame, legs, materials kit and tool hire.

You'll be guided 'Step-by-step' by our fantastic, friendly BUC Teach Team Tutors.

 

During your course with us, you'll be using compressed air staple guns, industrial sewing machines and a button press, getting to grips with modern upholstery techniques and meeting like-minded classmates - perfect for beginners or experienced upholsterers wanting to practice and pick up a few more tricks.

Choose your own legs! 

We have a wide range of legs you can choose from to customise the design of your footstool and really make it your own. Choose from either more traditional wooden legs (which you could stain or paint at a later date) or some modern and colourful Hair Pin Legs.
