Rachel has designed a practice exercise for beginners where you get to complete a classic weave pattern, learning the basics in caning to then be applied to chairs.... and you can take your frame home with you! (Making a lovely decorative wall hanging for the workshop to remind you of the weaving routine).
You must have done the beginners course first before being able to develop from your previous caning experience. Rachael will show you how to apply these skills previously learned to a chair project of your own.
Beginners - Please bring a notepad and pen. The frame and cane is provided.
**Improvers - Please bring a small cane dining or bedroom chair with a panel would be the ideal project. (No bigger than 45cm panel) Your cane will be provided.
