Student Chair Storage

Welcome to the Bristol Upholstery Collectives Chair Storage Selection! We recognise that lugging your chair to class every week can be quite a hassle, which is why we're delighted to introduce our new chair storage service.


Our chair storage service can be conveniently purchased on a term-by-term basis, subject to availability. Before making your purchase, we kindly ask you to review the terms and conditions detailed below.

Please note, all chairs must be removed from storage at the end of each term. 

If you wish to purchase multiple terms, these will need to be added to your basket individually. After your purchase, you will be sent a Student Chair Storage Form to complete. 

Terms and Conditions of Chair Storage 

1. Item Preparation and Storage

  • All items intended for storage must be appropriately wrapped and left on designated workbenches at the conclusion of each class throughout the term. Our dedicated staff will ensure secure storage and re-placement at the beginning of the next class.

  • Only 1 item per student can be stored per term

2. Term Duration

  • Individual weeks cannot be purchased for storage. The entire term must be booked to avail of our storage service.

3.  End of Term Removal

  • Please note that chairs must be removed from storage at the end of each term.  Any items left beyond this period will incur an additional delivery and administrative fee of £150 for home delivery

4. Liability and Insurance

  • BUC and UP Studios disclaim any responsibility for loss or damage to stored items. Storage is at the owner's risk. We strongly recommend individual insurance, such as an a-n membership, to protect your belongings.

5. Labeling Requirements

  • All stored items must be clearly labeled with the following details:

    • Wix order reference number

    • Owner's name

    • Class name

    • Contact email

    • Contact phone number (Swing tag labels will be provided by BUC).

6. Accepted Items

  • Our storage service is limited to chairs and ottoman boxes only. Fabric rolls, toolboxes, and other items are not eligible for storage.

7. Availability and Booking

  • Availability for our storage service is subject to capacity and is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that you plan your projects according to the course syllabus dates, which are available in advance. Even if a item is placed into storage mid-way through the term, the entire term must still be booked.

8. Accuracy of Descriptions

  • It is essential that the items stored match the description provided when booking the storage service.
