Beginners Sewing Skills Weekend
Here at Bristol Upholstery Collective, we love to inspire confidence and enjoyment of all skills related to upholstery, and of course, sewing is an essential skill required in the completion of most upholstered projects.
This weekend course is aimed at those with limited sewing machine experience who want to build their confidence by learning new techniques and skills. You will have the satisfaction of creating and taking home a scatter cushion that is unique to you, and a full workbook folder documenting your skills and progression.
You will benefit from learning in a small group with fully explained demonstrations, exercise pieces,
hand-out learning materials and high-quality tuition working closely with our sewing experts.
Sewing a loose scatter cushion is a good introduction to developing some key, transferable furnishings
It'll be beneficial for you to befriend your own sewing machine if you have one already, and you'll also get to have a go on our Walking Foot Machines.
