Modern upholstery Post 1950 Chair - Create your own unique set of box or shaped cushions for your vintage chair, sofa, foot stool.Sleek, simple and iconic!
Upon booking you will receive instructions on how to measure and create a template to have your foam cut to size.
This is a 2 day machine Sewing workshop to gain confidence in sewing techniques to produce a shaped Box Cushion, commonly found on 'Ercol' style Chairs.

Course Fee: £325 inc. zip & piping
Tutor: Tom Evans - Creative Upholsterer and Tutor
This 2 day workshop will teach you the tricks to machine sew a Box cushion, with a zip and piping decoration if desired.
You'll need to bring:
Foam - High firm blue with a Dacron wrap and stockinet (advice upon booking)
Fabric - Estimate via email
A domestic sewing machine with piping & zip foot
Sharp Scissors and pins or quilting clips
Information prior to course
How to measure up foam
Advice on Fabric type and amounts.
