Celebrating the collective power to sell sustainable furniture to the conscious consumer.
Browse the statement chairs for sale and network with your fellow makers & interior designers. DAY 1 discusses Social enterprise, sustainability, consumer attitudes, the future of the furniture industry, shopping local, empowering your upholsterer and saving the planet.

Delving into the future of the furniture industry, what are we to be aware of? What sustainability requirements are we responsible for? What is in our control and what is not? How do we create impact and deliver services in the best possible way?

Bristol Upholstery Collective is an Association of Master Upholsterers Training Centre providing the industry qualification and creating livelihoods.
Every year we exhibit the incredibly skilled and hard work of our Diploma students to celebrate their successes and unique styles.
FREE entry is granted to those who have event tickets.
Demonstrations & Tasters 2022

During the weekends events our Bristol Upholstery Collective Team and Associates of the upholstery & interiors Industries will be sharing their processes and techniques.
You can find the experimentation station where alternative materials and processes are encourage to be 'played with' whilst discussing usage amongst your fellow upholstery enthusiasts.
We learn by making mistakes and playing. Lets see what we can re-design for the future.

Share your 'Chair Stories' in an interactive Chair Art work exploring our connection and fascination with our favourite chairs and the perspective we get when we choose our seat.
Marvel at the momentous stitch work from BUC Upholstery Tutor, Thomas Evans, whose work has been previously exhibited and whose articles can be found in the latest copies of STUFF STITCH Magazine and The Guild Of Traditional Upholsteres.
